Rules

General

  • Every game consists of five rounds.
  • A random picture of a random track will be shown.
  • The zoom strength is determined by the difficulty setting.
  • The area of the zoom is random.
  • “Reveal Country” displays the country of the current track and can be used once per round.
  • “Move the Area” shows a new random zoom area of the same picture and can be used once per round.
  • Some images may be edited to remove obvious track branding, such as logos and names of the tracks.
  • If a track has multiple layouts, they will appear under the same track name if the overlap between the layouts is significant. For example, all Sainte-Croix layouts (A, B, C) appear under the same track name “Circuit de Sainte-Croix”, while Kyoto Driving Park Miyabi and Yamagiwa layouts appear separately. If the layouts appear separately but share the same part of the track, the images of this part of the track will not appear. For example, the start/finish straight of the Sardegna Road Track layouts. You can check the full list of appearing tracks by clicking on the “Track list” button on the main screen.

Regular Mode

  • Regular Mode has no timer.
  • The first guess is worth 100 points, with the round value decreasing by 10 points for every wrong answer.
  • A round can be skipped, but the player will be awarded 0 points for that round.
  • If an incorrect answer is given while the round is worth 10 points, the round ends with 0 points.
  • In Regular Mode, “Reveal Country” costs 30 points and “Move the Area” costs 10 points.
  • A power-up becomes unavailable when using it would leave no points available for a guess.

Speed Mode

  • Speed Mode rounds have a time limit. The duration is determined by the difficulty setting.
  • If the correct answer is given within the specified time window, the player is awarded the maximum available 100 points. After that, the awarded points decrease as time runs out.
  • Easy and Medium difficulties have a 15-second perfect-score window.
  • Hard has a 10-second perfect-score window, while Extreme has a 5-second perfect-score window.
  • On Hard or Extreme difficulty, the round timer is reduced by 5 seconds for every incorrect answer.
  • If the incorrect-answer penalty is equal to or greater than the time remaining, the round ends immediately.
  • In Speed Mode, “Reveal Country” and “Move the Area” each cost 20 seconds on Easy and Medium, 10 seconds on Hard and 5 seconds on Extreme.
  • A power-up becomes unavailable when there is not more time remaining than its time cost.
